One thing we've realized over the years is that most shower materials are designed to stay exactly the same forever.
Copper is different.
It changes. It reacts. It develops character the more it's used.
And honestly, that's a huge part of why people connect with it so strongly once they experience it in person.
When most homeowners start planning a bathroom remodel, they usually compare the same categories: tile, acrylic, stone, solid surface, maybe plaster. Everyone tends to focus on color, maintenance, cost, and installation.
But copper enters the conversation differently.
It's not just another finish choice.
A copper shower becomes part of the architecture of the home itself.
There's something about copper that feels warm immediately. Especially in a space with water, steam, and natural light.
It doesn't have the flatness that a lot of modern materials have.
The surface moves.
Light shifts across it differently throughout the day.
Patina slowly develops over time.
And because no two sheets of copper are identical, every installation ends up feeling slightly different.
That's one thing we love most about it.
No two showers age the same way.

Tile still absolutely has its place. There are incredible tile installations out there.
But the maintenance side of tile is real.
Grout stains.
Hairline cracks.
Mold issues.
Loose tiles.
Resealing.
Discoloration over time.
Copper removes a lot of those long-term pain points while creating something that feels far more architectural and custom.
For many homeowners, the decision eventually becomes less about "What is cheapest today?" and more about:
"What material do I actually want to live with long term?"
That's usually when copper starts making a lot more sense.
